CHILDREN’S
MINISTRY needs your help!
Are you going to be worshiping at Kingswood
at least one Sunday this summer? If so, we need you! We are
looking for Summer Sunday School teachers so we can give our full-time
teachers a much deserved break. You only have to sign up for one
Sunday (although you can volunteer more than once) and it is so easy!
The curriculum is already written and ready for teaching. Please sign
up for one or more Sundays-see Lisa Bruce in the Narthex following
worship today.

CONNEXION CALLERS NEEDED
Each member of our fine ConneXion
Caller group calls one or two first-time visitors approximately once a
month. This is a great way to let our visitors know that we’re a
welcoming church and that we hope they will come again! If you would
like to join our group on a regular basis, or to serve as a substitute
caller when necessary, please call Ellie Freund at 678-421-0635.

KINGSWOOD
BOOK CLUB
will meet at the home of Art &
Betty Collins on May 7 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss
The Greatest Generation by
Tom Brokaw. At a time in their lives when their
days and nights should have been filled with innocent adventure,
love, and the lessons of the workaday world, they were fighting in
the most primitive conditions possible in Europe and the Pacific.
They won the war; they saved the world. They gave the world new
science, literature, art, industry, and economic strength
unparalleled in history. This book tells their stories. We
always welcome new members and would love to have you join us. |
