I am a Christian, and have been a member of the Methodist Church all of my life. I grew up at Winters Chapel Methodist Church where I was confirmed in 1968. Since 1979, I have worshipped as a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church.

Scouting and the Methodist Church work well together, and there is even a Web site devoted to Scouting in the United Methodist Church.

Lately I have become concerned that the
United Methodist Church has begun moving away from its own professed doctrines and creeds. The big problem seems to be a denial of scriptural authority. There are many web sites where one may find information about this on-going struggle within the denomination between those who remain faithful to 2000 years of Christian teaching, and those who wish to move away from Christ and "Classical Christianity".

I am a member of the Confessing Movement within the United Methodist Church, which seeks to bring the Church's focus back to confession of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Visit the Confessing Movement's web site to learn more, and also check out the news stories of the official United Methodist News Service

Of course, there are many non-Methodist web sites that have a lot of great information. Here is
A WWW site I like.
