Linnie Ruth Glaze

Ruth L. Glaze, 84, of Covington, GA., died April 13, 2001. She was born on September 18, 1916 in Walton County, Georgia to the late James David Glaze and Violet Ramsden Glaze, formerly of Stone Mountain. Miss Glaze had been a resident of Covington for 12 years. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church and attended Porterdale Baptist Church. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Edna Shiver of Covington, brothers, Mr. Claude Glaze of Stone Mountain, Mr. Robert Glaze of Eastanolla, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Mr. Byram Glaze, and Mr. Herman Glaze. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 16 in the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, Covington, GA, with Rev. Dickie Johnson officiating. Internment will be at Walnut Grove Methodist Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
